The Sacrament of   Marriage

The sacrament of Marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, instituted by God. It symbolizes the union of Christ and the Church, and is considered a vocation and a path to holiness. Through this sacrament, the couple receives divine grace to help them live out their commitment to each other, to raise children, and to contribute to the community. Marriage is indissoluble, meaning it cannot be broken by human authority, and it reflects God's love, faithfulness, and self-giving. The couple's mutual love and lifelong commitment are central to the sacrament.
