Second Collection: The Maintenance of Saint George's Cathedral
ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY 19 APRIL
1. We will now take the second collection. Today’s second collection is for the Saint Margaret’s Building Projects Fund.
2. Next week’s second collection will be for the Priests’ Training Fund. This fund finances the training of future priests for the Southwark Archdiocese.
3. The Bishops of England and Wales have asked parishes to hold a Holy Hour today to pray for the Dignity of Human Life. The Holy Hour at Saint Margaret’s will be held from 4.30 to 5.30 this afternoon.
4. The Food Bank continues to need our donations to help families in need. You can leave donated items in the container in the meeting area. There is a list of priority items in this week’s Newsletter.
5. If you are attending St Margaret’s for the first time, you are very welcome. We are a welcoming, diverse and inclusive parish – so, if you are new here, please introduce yourself to Fr Anthony and our Welcomers and join us for tea and coffee after Mass. And, as always, please could anyone who sees someone new to the parish make a point of approaching them and making them welcome.

It offers practical advice, resources, and website links, including guidance on forming inclusion groups, welcoming diverse parishioners, sourcing diverse religious items, and organizing multicultural events.
