Sunday Second Collection: St Margaret's Project - The Hall
ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR SUNDAY 9 AUGUST
1. We will now take the second collection. Today’s second collection is for the Saint Margaret’s Building Projects Fund.
2. A reminder that you can now donate towards the cost of our new parish hall by bank transfer. The details of the project account are in the current Newsletter. Please give generously towards the costs of building the hall which will greatly enhance the activities and life of our parish.
3. You can now apply for your child to receive his or her First Holy Communion or Confirmation next year. Application forms are available in the church porch and on the parish website.
4. If you are attending St Margaret’s for the first time, you are very welcome. We are a welcoming, diverse and inclusive parish – so, if you are new here, please introduce yourself to Fr Anthony, Fr Francis and our Welcomers and join us for tea and coffee after Mass. And, as always, please could anyone who sees someone new to the parish make a point of approaching them and making
them welcome.
​ As part of our Community Outreach programme, In July, St Margaret's will be praying for
residents on Mount Park - odd numbers. Please join us in prayer.

St Margaret's Toolkit on Racial and Cultural Inclusion
St Margaret of Scotland parish has created Toolkit to help Catholic parishes enhance racial and cultural inclusion in their activities and worship. It offers practical advice, resources, and website links, including guidance on forming inclusion groups, welcoming diverse parishioners, sourcing diverse religious items, and organizing multicultural events. This toolkit supported by the Southwark Archdiocese's Commission Promoting Racial and Cultural Inclusion. Access the Toolkit.
