About the event
A Day of Recollection will be held on Saturday 27th November 2021. The Day is primarily for Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist to enable them to comply with their annual commitment, but all parishioners are invited to attend. Invitations have been sent to other parishes in the diocese.
The Day will be led by Fr Joseph Edem and will begin with Mass at 9.30am celebrated by Fr Anthony, followed by Confessions.
There will be a series of Talks by Fr Joseph and opportunities for silent prayer.
Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament will take place after lunch during which the Rosary and Divine Mercy Chaplet will be said. This will be followed by Benediction.
The Day will end at 3.00pm.
Tea and coffee will be provided but participants are requested to bring their own packed lunches.
There is a "signing up" sheet on the Noticeboard in the Meeting Area for those intending to participate. We encourage as many parishioners as possible to attend.
